You determine that you could wear the shield, slinging it across your shoulders and back. The shield appears to serve some purpose.
It looks like this item has been mainly crafted out of black alloy, an extraordinarily rare alloy. It would need to be supplied to be used in an alteration and may only be used as an accent. This material cannot be dyed.
